About
Milandhoo School on Qaazee Magu (Ghazee Magu) is the island's government school, teaching from foundation stage to Grade 12 under the national curriculum. It was established on 17 September 2000 after the people of Maakandoodhoo moved to Milandhoo, and keeps the badge, flag and uniform of Maakandhoo School. A four-storey building with 29 classrooms, two libraries and four laboratories was later added, along with a hall: S.J Construction designed and built them for the Ministry of Education under a 2015 contract worth MVR 58.6 million, and the new building was handed over in January 2018.
