Milandhoo Football Ground was closed so that the new Milandhoo Hospital could be built on its site. Between 2015 and 2017 the council tendered floodlights, levelling, grass and a running track around the pitch, and in 2017 the Youth Minister said the levelling was finished. The India-funded synthetic running track agreed in 2023 was also meant to be built here.
